Hi readers! It’s been a bit.
Just to be honest, I lost my desire to write and have been struggling to get it back.
But over the past week, I’ve felt that fire for weaving words begin to burn again.
If you’ve read my blog or followed me on social media, you know that mental health has been my focus for some time. Now I’m shifting towards how the mind, body, and spirit are not separate, and even social and environmental factors play huge roles in our lives. With this being a year of transformation for me, embracing overall wellness just feels right at this time.
This definitely is more in line with the way life ebbs and flows; sometimes we’re more physically focused, while other times the spiritual or mental aspects top the charts. In my opinion, becoming balanced is acknowledging the truth in that ebb and flow, and learning not to fully neglect any part of ourselves.

So, I just wanted to update you on where my thoughts have been. Really the blog will remain much the same. I’ll continue sharing what’s on my mind, personal experiences, and lessons learned. It’s what I do. And it’s time I do so more often.
One of the habits I’m incorporating into my routine is to write for thirty minutes each day. Whether it’s journaling, blogging, or working on an article/story, I must spend more time creating pieces that I enjoy. I know this will help that fire blaze for writing like it once did.
And I really do appreciate you being here. I’d love to hear from you if you read this. (Afterall, what good is a blog if no one reads it? Ha!) Seriously though, thanks for stopping by. I’m looking forward to seeing you here more often.
Much love, turtledoves.
